Published Foot Health Articles on CFP
Working with podiatrists and others in the field of health
ConsultingFootPain (CFP) publishes and creates an open access body of material to highlight the field of podiatry; a body dedicated to good foot and lower limb health. The most important driver should emphasise that podiatry is not just about feet but general health. More to the point the relationship with the body makes the subject more engaging. Book reviews are included from professionals and are included in the list below. The search facility will work with names and subject matter. Highlighted words in blue will have a link. To submit an article please use the guide below under WRITING TIPS.
Reflective Clinical stories
CFP looks for clinical stories that provide helpful reflection; conditions affecting health that relate to feet. Failure is not negative but a positive way of showing how improvement can outweigh the effects of experiences that might have been unhelpful. Penicillin arose because a mould appeared on organic material by accident.
By communicating, we help others learn and expand ideas. Learning is for life and no matter how experienced we might be, we can always learn. My article Thinking outside the Box is an example in how we improve using real life situations. Alison’s story, covering her experience with anaphylaxis, is powerful and informative

It is hope to publish a new book on Promoting Podiatry during 2022 to update and take ‘Selling Podiatry as Foot Health’ further given many developments during 2020-21 in the profession of podiatry. This remains in production
