Podiatry, Health and Fiction
Find all my current books on Amazon KDP
Books and all that written stuff are covered under my bookstore. You can find my latest books here or check out the expert reviews. As a keen author, David likes to tackle different themes using his website, encouraging others to write, publishing books for organisations, writing about various health issues and, of course, delving into fiction. While foot health and practice have been his main identity, he is keen to look at different aspects of health. His fictional books are a hobby that must be squeezed between other projects.
Every now and then, a great health book comes on the market, and I like to write it up when I can find a spare moment. Read about David, the author, here… my latest books are featured below.

A Self-help Study Guide
Now available from Amazon Books or the Institute of Podiatry
For foot health practitioners & podiatrists
This companion course, published for the Institute of Podiatrists, sets out different styles of questions, offering tips for open and closed methods, especially multi-choice options.
Divided into two parts: questions in the first and detailed explanations in the second part. Supporting self-assessment for foot health practitioners and students on university courses, this handy aid helps understand the finer parts of foot health science in eight study areas.
“For those who aspire to be podiatrists, assistants or support workers, this book will shape your thoughts about a part of the human body that is often forgotten.” David Tollafield, former Deputy Head of the School of Podiatry and Dean of the Faculty of Podiatric Surgery, Royal College of Podiatry (2012-14).

Available from Austen Macauley or Amazon books
Podiatrist On A Mission is probably the only book written as a novel covering the early transformation of chiropody to podiatry in 1974. Initially published in 2020 under Busypencilcase Communications, Austen Macauley published this under their brand, and it is now available from major book retailers and Amazon books. If you know nothing about podiatry, let this book take you behind the scenes of one student who struggled to overcome failure. This book is all about the people, not the foot, and it is an easy-to-read book for all ages.

Written for the foot health professional, this is designed as an easy book to follow for clinicians. You can read more by following the LINK. Please note that one reviewer suggested that the book fell to pieces. This has never happened before, and asking Amazon for a replacement is recommended. Since 2017, I have produced over 1000 printed copies of different books, but Amazon does use different printing presses in different countries.

Introducing – ‘The Story of Cristal Rouge’ the red biro
Cristal Rouge is a ballpoint pen; as we know, ballpoint pens come in different colours and have a limited Life Life. Cristal passes to different people during her life. She worries that she will only have a short time to live because her ink will not last as long as other ink pens. She meets a nasty pen called Nosey Parker and James Green. With her friends, she makes the best of the hard world where expensive pens are highly regarded. When her world seems to be at an end, she is rescued. When her world seems to be at an end, she is rescued.
